Meet Dan Freitas: Dedicated and Passionate WDC Showroom Manager and All-Around Good Guy
WDC Kitchen & Bath Center has been around for 40 years, and in that time, we have had many wonderful and long-time employees. We decided it would be a good idea to introduce a few of them to you.
This month’s employee spotlight is sweet, dedicated and a super passionate WDC store manager, Dan Freitas. Dan has worked for WDC for 11 years, and for the past year he’s been the Oxnard Showroom Manager. “I love my job, and the best part of my job is being able to help people in a variety of ways. It makes my job not only interesting, but satisfying.” He goes on to say, “What WDC does is help customers realize their dreams, whether it’s a new kitchen, or bathroom, or a new washer and dryer, we help in turning someone’s vision into a reality. And when it’s all completed, their home is upgraded and better in some way, and it’s a privilege to be a part of that. Whether it’s just one new appliance or fixture, or a total remodel, refurbishing your home is good for the soul.”
Being a store manager means Dan overseas all aspects of the showroom’s day to day logistics, as well as being very acquainted with everything WDC sells.
“I love working with customers and helping them find just the right appliance or fixture for their needs, as well as their budget. It comes down to knowledge, and understanding what will work for that customer. That will make all the difference in the world.”
Since Dan is very comfortable selling all the brands WDC sells, he offered up one of his favorite products, and it’s a bit personal. “My favorite item to sell is The Big Green Egg because I absolutely love to BBQ. I also believe that The Big Green Egg does 100% of what it advertises it can do. It can actually do more depending on how experienced and knowledgeable the cook happens to be, and for myself, I think I’m pretty darn good.”
